Sebastian Linnenbrink
With Sebastian Linnenbrink, a highly qualified certified Specialist for employment law strengthens our “microcosm” of experts at the “reef”, advising and representing companies as well as employees on all matters of employment law — making him another important building block in our comprehensive advisory expertise.
As a lawyer, my job is not to be right or to win arguments. My job is to realise the commercial and personal goals of my clients.
Perfectionist and yet a people person.
Sebastian’s core areas in employment law include restructurings, business transfers, and workforce reduction measures. He is equally at home in the field of corporate and insolvency liability law, for example in relation to insolvency avoidance claims or the liability of corporate officers. Not least through his many years of experience in advising and representing hospital operators and insolvency administrators nationwide in employment law matters, he ensures comprehensive employment law advice and representation for entrepreneurs and executives.
He does not see his role as a lawyer as being about winning arguments, but about realising the commercial and personal goals of his clients. For this, he goes the extra mile. His conviction: while the Pareto principle holds that 80% of results can be achieved with 20% of the effort, and a keen eye for what matters, solid experience, and commercial acumen may often suffice — sometimes they simply do not. Sebastian refuses to settle for 80% when it comes to his clients. Only when their interests are fully secured does he consider his work successfully done.

One foot in nature, one in the think tank.
As an open and nature-loving person, he fits perfectly into the Reef team, which is built on close, cross-disciplinary collaboration and a collegial working culture.
Both colleagues and clients value their exchanges with him and his commitment to accepting nothing short of the best possible outcome.
